Meet the Team – Ben

For this weeks meet the team Monday I would like to introduce you all to Ben. He has been part of the team since the very very beginning.

WORK

His first “paid” job was picking up broken clays from hard to get places post shoot when he was 8 years old. He was the king of filling up bucket after bucket after each shoot.

As the years passed he progressed to managing a clay trap, assisting with the setting up and managing inflatables and being an integral member of our Mini Highland Games team.

CLAY SHOOTING

He’s a crack shot, challenging himself to not only hit the clay but smashing it as soon as it leaves the trap.

HOBBIES

Loves sport, especially rugby

WHAT NEXT

After a summer of playing rugby and working he is flying the nest to study Physiology Sport Science and Nutrition at Glasgow University

3 RANDOM FUN FACTS

1)He qualified to represent Scotland in Laser run in Budapest but unfortunately on his 14th birthday he broke his thumb mountain biking so couldn’t compete.

2) when he was younger his chocolate Easter egg would often last till Christmas. Mainly I think to annoy his siblings

3) Eats up to five meals a day and snacks in between when in full training.

4) I will no doubt be in the dog house for posting this, but he’s an important member of the Glad Rags Team and we will miss him when he goes.

P. S. I’m his mum ❤️
