Glad Rags and Gardening Gloves – Basket Fantastic & Potty About Pots

Do you see baskets and pots over flowing with colour, with butterflies merrily fluttering about, with flowers of colour all summer long and have basket and pot envy?

Do your pots look good for a week then shortly after resemble a sad pile of brown dried up nothingness, do you watch the butterflies fly by your garden to make a beeline for your neighbours?  If so then this is the event for you.

Come along and enjoy a relaxing fun afternoon of learning how to create wonderful, colourful, long flowering beauties.

The course will include:

  • Course notes
  • Picking the correct basket or pot for you
  • Looking at which flowers to choose and why
  • What colours work well together
  • How to plant them
  • How to look after them to ensure longevity
  • Enabling you to then design and maintain your own unique creations
  • Cake, refreshments, fun and laughter

At the course you have the choice to sit back and relax or be hands on by taking your pot or basket to assemble on the day.

Pre-event each participant will be sent course notes to help and guide them to choose the best plants/flowers for them.

Taking the course is our wonderful talented Hilda Stewart, who each summer is the envy of all as her pots and baskets outshine, out colour and outlast everyone else’s.
